The Brewing Process,
as Equipment

Every vessel introduced at the exact moment in the process where it earns its place on your floor.

01
The Grain Bill

Where Every Great Beer Begins

The rough, nutty crush of cracked malt is your first signature. Our two-roller and four-roller mills deliver consistent grist without over-shredding husks — because your lauter run depends on it. Set the gap to 0.045 inches and feel the barley yield.

The Mash

Patience Measured in Degrees

Sixty-five degrees. Hold it there for sixty minutes. Our insulated, steam-jacketed mash tuns maintain ±0.2°C across the full grain bed — no hot spots, no cold pockets. The enzymes do exactly what you ask them to do.

The Boil

Rolling Thunder in Stainless

A proper rolling boil — not a simmer, not a shimmy. Our direct-fire and steam-heated kettles with internal calandria achieve 8–10% evaporation rates. Watch the hot break coagulate. Smell the first hop addition land.

The Ferment

Cold Crash. Condensation. Clarity.

The cold-side is where your beer becomes itself. Glycol-jacketed fermenters with 60° conical bottoms drop yeast clean. Beads of condensation trace the temperature differential on polished steel. This is the patient hum you came for.

We spec'd our first 10-barrel system through Ferment after outgrowing our 3-barrel pilot. The mash tun holds temp through a 90-minute rest without drifting a tenth of a degree. That kind of consistency changed how we approach recipe development entirely.

The CIP system they designed for our 15-barrel setup cut our cleaning rotation from 4 hours to 90 minutes. We're doing double batches of our imperial stout back-to-back now. The equipment doesn't flinch.

Ferment's team walked us through every valve, every fitting, every automation touchpoint. Six months in, we've scaled from 200 barrels a year to over 1,800. The equipment grew with us exactly as they said it would.

20 BBL System

I've worked on equipment from three other suppliers. None of them had the weld quality on the inside of these fermenters. When you're selling beer at this price point, the finish matters all the way through.
